A: Hi Christina, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your TV. In order for us to help, you will first need to file a claim. We strongly recommend filing the claim by phone as our TV technicians will be able to diagnose the issue faster by talking with you directly. Please contact us at our customer service number 877-927-7268. We are available 24/7. We will also need you to submit the item purchase receipt as it will need to be verified before your claim can be processed. To submit your receipt, please use our website upload tool by going to www.squaretrade.com. This process should take you less than 5 minutes to create a login and upload your receipt. The file must be in JPG, TIF or PDF format and it should be less than 5MB. Remember, your receipt must clearly show the retailer’s name, item price, date of purchase, and item name. This tv replaced a 10+ y.o. Vizio tv which was working fine but I was nervous about it going out suddenly. It was also 26" and I wanted something larger. Right out of the box there were problems with getting the legs on. The screws would not go in all the way which left the tv very wobbly. I called Target tech support and Westinghouse and both said I should take it back to Target. Instead I called a neighbor who spent a lot of time getting the screws in and with a lot of muscle she got all 4 in. If you are an older adult you'll definitely need a strong person to help with getting the legs on. The tv is now up and running but I don't think the picture is any better than my Vizio and certainly the volume is not as good. The volume goes in and out from low to high and is very inconsistent. It seems commercials are louder and regular shows lower. Never had this problem with my Vizio. I bought the extended warranty because I've learned nothing today is made to last. A plus is that it's very lightweight and it fits nicely in the spot I have it. I'll hold onto my Vizio for a while. Overall, the tv gives me more viewing area and is lightweight but other than that my old Vizio is better but the sale price for this tv was excellent. There's still more I need to learn like how to move the apps around on the home screen. This is a 720p resolution like the Vizio because I'm not seated far from the tv. I can't get excited about this tv but can recommend it with the caveats mentioned in this review.

This coverage sucks! It was the only one offered when I purchased my TV so I thought this one covered accidents, etc. Square Trade insurance has never been the best insurance, etc. A waste of money.
