Ear detection, which pauses and plays music when the earbuds are taken in and out of your ears, is a built-in feature on the Tune Flex 2. To ensure the feature works correctly, make sure: Bluetooth is connected: The earbuds need to be connected to your device via Bluetooth for ear detection to function. Proper fit: Ensure the earbuds fit snugly in your ears. If they are loose, the sensors might not detect when they are in or out correctly. Clean ear tips: Earwax buildup can interfere with the sensors. Regularly clean your ears and the ear tips.     Do not stay in; too heavy

    I can’t imagine who thought this design would work in the human ear but they don’t go in easily & when you finally get one positioned, and move to the next, the first falls out. They’re probably decent quality otherwise but I’ll never know because I can’t get even one to stay in more than a nano second. What a disappointment.

    Not Great

    I bought these to replace my black Tune Flex original ear buds I lost. I bought the Tune Flex 2 because of the additional color options and they were on sale. So far, I am unimpressed by the sound quality. The "noise canceling" and "ambient aware" features are not as good as the Tune Flex 1.

    Excellent value and quality

    Very impressed with these ear buds. I don't like the standard round seal bud style. 1. I want to hear things around me, and often wear them at work where I regularly need to have conversations with people, so I don't want a total seal to block everything out around me 2. They ALWAYS fall out of my ears. No matter what size I use its a constant issue for me, I just have oddly shaped/sized ear holes or something. Before this I was using Air Pods, which have a similar style, and these buds were basically the only ones I could find with this style. They're cheaper, even at full price, provide much stronger base, and last much longer without needing to be charged in the case. Also I'm just sick of Apple and would rather not be handing them more money right now. Overall, these are fantastic. JBL seriously knows what they're doing.

    Disappointed with JBL

    I recently purchased the JBL Tune Flex 2 headphones, but I’m quite disappointed with the experience. The sound is noticeably low, and there’s a major issue where the playback and ANC pause and resume automatically without any reason on both sides. I believe this might be a software issue or a problem with the sensor. Initially, I faced this problem on both sides of my first pair, and after claiming the warranty, I received a replacement. However, within just one day of using the replacement, I started facing the same play/pause issue again — this time on one side only. This is very frustrating and clearly shows that the issue still persists. I sincerely hope JBL investigates this matter and provides a proper fix soon. If the problem continues, I may have to consider switching to other brands instead of JBL in the future.

    Sound fails

    They are ok

    They fall out of my ears all of the time. I was happy to find different bud sizes, but I can’t get it right and they always fall out. The sound is great and I bought them because they offered spacial sounds.

    Pieces of junk

    I got these as a gift a month ago and not even 2 days into having them, the left one doesn’t even turn on half the time. The battery life on them is pitiful and the contact points are very picky. The noise canceling is almost louder than the base ambient aware mode. I had the tune flex 1’s and they served me for a year and a half. I don’t think I will ever get anything JBL ever again!

    Why this shape!? OUCH

    I've been a big fan of JBL earbuds for a long time. The bass is pretty good but NOTHING can fix the weird and painful shape of these buds. With all tips, I find the inside of my ear getting cut or bruised from the shape and width. People with small ear canals, please beware! I recommend the old earbud style.

    These do not fit my ears properly and fall out all the time. They sound alright when they actually decide to charge, but one often doesn't charge fully. When you do try to charge them they often stay connected even though they are enclosed in the case

    Not worth the price point.

    Only choosing 1 star because anything between 1 and 5 doesn’t really get noticed. I’ve had 3 different jbl earbuds so don’t paint me as a hater, but these particular ones fell short. The noise cancellation does not work nearly as well on other earbuds. I work around equipment that can be loud and with previous buds I could noise cancel and still listen to my music. These get completely drowned out by any outside noise. They don’t stay in my ear at all. If I tilt my head in the slightest I’ll feel them start to fall out. And I already know jbl will respond with “we have 3 different size…” Yes I know. They’re too flimsy. There’s not enough traction to hold them in place. And because of the unique design I can’t do my usual trick of switching to a foam tip which tends to hold the buds better. Sound quality is fine BUT occasionally they will “glitch out” and there will be an added static noise that comes and goes. The volume doesn’t get loud enough in my opinion. Battery life is pretty short compared to competitors at this price or even other jbl at nearly the same price.

    You will not regret it

    As an audio professional, I cannot recommend these enough for a consumer. The spatial audio is a perfect balance between your surroundings, & what you're listening to. The sound isolation could be a *bit* better upon not having audio playing, but if you have music playing, the cancelation starts to shine. Combine it with the app to adjust equalization, as well as customize your gesture commands. I've bought headphones twice the price for not nearly as good of an experience. I cannot recommend these enough.
