    Complete scam, four months after buying a controller. I submitted a claim and the entire thing was pointless. Just put 20 bucks in a ETF for future replacements. No help and target shouldn’t even offer this!!!!

    this is pointless. i called them about my defective controllers and all they told me to do is to take the controllers back and to get my money back and go & buy a new one instead of trying to fix it.

    Always good to have

    I've only used the insurance once before on a different product. I didn't like the fact that it doesn't start till 48 hours after purchase. I bought a broke tv but insurance wouldnt pay, had to go through manufacturer. I still get the insurance because it will replace item after the 1st initial couple of days.

    Complete scam this protection plan is a joke

    Not worth the price doesn't cover what it says. My controller was less than a year old and I was not offered a replacement or the option to repair. They wanted me send the controller back and take 29.34. The policy was $9 so I'd basically get $20 bucks and no controller!

    They are not worth the hassle

    WASTE OF MONEY!

    Do not buy warranty! It is a waste of money. I tried to use it for a PS5 controller and was not able to do anything. I contacted target and was told to contact another number, contacted them and was told to contact someone else. Ended up going back to target and was told they could do nothing about it and I asked what is the point of paying for the warranty? And all they could say was I’m sorry about it but there’s nothing they could do. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

    Getting The Runaround

    I'm trying to use this plan for an Xbox controller I bought and the website is refusing to log me in. After talking to 2 different reps to try and get help, the second one ended the chat with no conclusion. The only info I got is that my account was temporarily locked for too many attempts (I've changed the password twice to try and get in) and to try again in 24 hours, and the chat ended before I could confirm that they were filing the claim for me after I had to ask them to because I didn't want to wait 24 hours for my account to unlock. Now I have to anyway unless I want to try and argue with a 3rd agent. Absolutely will never purchase one of these plans again if this is the SOP!

    Waste of money

    Waste of money. Been 9 months and trigger stopped working. Allstate says to contact manufacturer and now they want pictures of it's model number and all that, but the letters and everything and faded and worn out on the back of the controller. So I'm stuck with a broken controller.

    The typical run-around

    Bought this for my $80 controller just for them to tell me to call the manufacturer. Both companies just feeding me BS while I'm stuck with a broken controller 2 months after purchase.

    No insurance.

    Can not get a invoice for what I brought. So I have no paperwork showing I paid for the insurance. Target was no help even though I purchased it through them.
