Q: There is a white plastic drip tray that came with it. No instructions at all how to install it. I called company she said it slips in on back of refrigerator. I see nowhere at bottom opening where it just slips in! Onto what I.don’t know!

A: Basically, you *slide* the white plastic tray onto the top of the compressor. Notice that there is a projecting white piece on the bottom of the tray and a similar projecting black piece on the top of the compressor. They should click into place, as you slide the white tray onto the top of the compressor. If problems, call the Whirlpool number: 1-855-666-4477.

submitted byErin - 1 year agoA: Me too! I just called 1-855-666-4477 and was told that plastic tray slips on top of the compressor and clicks in place. Guess it's to prevent and collect any water drips. Make sure the black foam faces the compressor.

I’m reaching out because the Whirlpool fridge I ordered from Target unfortunately arrived damaged. I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed, especially considering that I paid extra for protection on the item. At this point, I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning or exchanging it—the process would be a major inconvenience for me, both logistically and time-wise. I went the extra mile by purchasing protection, but I’m honestly not even sure if it covers damages that occur during delivery, which only adds to my concern. I had no control over how the fridge was handled during transit, and I don’t think I should be penalized for something that wasn’t my fault. I’m hoping there’s a way to resolve this fairly. A partial refund or some form of compensation would go a long way in making this right without creating further inconvenience for me. Thanks for your time and understanding. I really hope we can come to a reasonable resolution.

Total trash. Everything freezes in the fridge AND freezer or it doesn't cool enough and you won’t be able to use the fridge or freezer due to too high of a temperature, there is no in between. Fridge is in use for about a week now. First two days went fine, then it went downhill. Either both the freezer and the fridge freeze everything, or, when turned down, neither fridge nor freeze is cold enough. Picture of freezer attached after turning the temperature up some after neither fridge nor freezer cooled properly. This ice build-up happened within two days.

I needed a mini fridge that was not too small. This one is perfect, still a mini but has more room than than the standard mini. The freezer space is also plenty for an ice cube tray and a few other items. The space in the inner door is also great. The price on this fridge is also much lower than other retailers who are advertising it.
