  • A: I didn't measure decibels and some claim it is loud, but 42 dB seems a bit over to me. I can't even tell when it is running since my AC duct noise is louder. This fridge would never disturb me.

    Uneven temperatures in the fridge. Freezes the back. Ice even forms. Even when I change the temperature settings. Then in the front it’s very warm. I’ve had 3 milks spoil because of this issue. In addition to other foods.

    When my Midea 3.1 cu. ft. mini fridge/freezer arrived from FedEx, the box had a noticeable tear (see photo). Don’t panic if yours shows up the same way— once unboxed, mine turned out to be in perfect condition with no dents or damage. After plugging it in, the instructions recommended waiting about four hours before adding food, but I could already feel it cooling fast within the first hour. The interior has plenty of space, making it an excellent fit for a minimalist’s everyday needs. Hopefully Midea has built this unit with durability in mind—I’d love to see it last a good five years or more. Later, I'll buy a piece of furniture to lift it up.
