In 30 Days to Growing in Your Faith Max Anders not only shares Biblical concepts but also uses a format to help plant these concepts deep into our hearts and lives. The book combines reading, repetition, fill in the blank statements, a central passage/Scripture daily, and questions (thought/discussion and decision/application) in each chapter to actively engage the reader. Max divides his book into 3 sections: Know, Be, and Do. He writes in his book " As a complete Christian, you need to: • Know what you need to know • Become what you need to be • Do what you need to do" Each section has 10 chapters as you work your way from knowing about Christian life to becoming a more mature Christian to living out a Christian life through helping others and sharing God's Word. I would suggest reading only one chapter daily, using this as a devotional or Bible study, so you can read slowly and focus on just one concept for that day. You can do further study or research along with the daily chapter if you struggle with the concept or just want to learn more. The daily central passage/ Scripture can be used as a focus verse for the day and memory verses which you can add to as you progress through the book. I would recommend the print format over the digital as I found it a little difficult to do the digital format on my phone but may be easier on a larger screen. You can do the fill in the blank statements and questions in the printed copy easier than a digital copy, in my opinion. You can use a notebook or journal to write out the fill in the blank statements, take notes or answer questions as you read. I did enjoy the book and feel that it is a useful resource to use in growing my faith and applying to my life. I will be rereading Max's book at a slower pace, focusing on one chapter a day to more fully grasp and digest the Biblical concepts and information from each chapter along with answering the questions. I did find myself losing focus and my mind wandering through some of the chapters but this may have been because I was reading several chapters at a time and I may be able to focus better doing one chapter daily. I would recommend this book to people searching on what a Christian life is about, for new Christian people, and even for a person who has been a Christian for awhile who wants to experience spiritual growth. Max takes you through the progress of becoming a Christian to transforming your life and living out God's Word daily. Pick up a copy today to start planting and growing a deeper faith. I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
