A: There are two D hooks attached to the back.

We don't recommend using hanging wire as this could rip the d-rings out, so you'll want to use the 2 screws and anchors provided with the mirror. Q: My mirror has a scratch on it and it seems like there is a protective coating on the mirror itself which heightens the ability to see the scratch. Is there a protective coating or is it just the way the mirror was made?

For cleaning, please note that tarnish can happen to the back of mirror or to edges if harsh chemicals like ammonia or acidic cleaners sit long enough on reflective coating. It is recommended to use an ammonia free cleaner and a microfiber or soft, lint free cloth. Spray the cloth vs spraying the mirror then apply to mirror and wipe till clean and dry. Hope this helps!

Q: the template I got only had one drill hole marked and so I had to measure and I was off. so I had to take the anchor out and try again and the anchor broke. What size anchor do I need to buy?

Beautiful mirror!
This mirror is beautiful. I put it in a small half bath to add a little drama to a room that doesn't have enough space for big design items. This was an affordable mirror with a big punch. 10/10 recommend. Side note: I did have this shipped and there were no problems with the mirros condition upon arrival. That being said I have ordered several mirros online and have had issues in the past. I think if you order online it really is a 50/50 gamble the condition it arrives it. It fully depends on the quality of the delivery team. That being said, when my items have arrived broken in the past target always made it right. This does shed light on the shear volume of waste in this industy, however.

Distorted Reflection
I'm surprised this mirror has nearly 5 stars. I purchased this mirror because we needed a round mirror to hang over the entryway table/cabinet in our foyer. I bought this in store and I'm disappointed in myself for not noticing its distorted reflection. We hung it on the wall thinking it wouldn't be that bad, but it's definitely noticeable. For $80, I feel it's not worth the price. I would expect better and I'm disappointed.

Mounting points are 18” apart, studs are 16” apart since the building code was created at the dawn of time. Why aren’t you making your mounting points 16” apart

Beautiful mirror! The gold is a perfect color. The only issue I have is the mirror itself is not great quality. It has a distorted look and different angles. I read another comment that referenced it looking like a fun house mirror, and I would have to agree.
