Poor assembly process
Shelf is pretty, but assembly instructions are awful. The diagram is hard to read and I consider myself pretty good at this stuff. Also, when I got to the last step I noticed the screws included for attaching the top piece are too short to go through the wood slats they’re supposed to go in. So I had to go find extra screws that were long enough. Probably wouldn’t buy again, especially because similar shelves are easy to find and with better assembly process.

I bought 2 of these and one was easy to assemble however 1 contained parts that did not work ie the nuts did not have the necessary threads to connect the bolts. Now I must return that one which is cumbersome and difficult to transport. I would prefer to receive the correct parts.

Solid furniture
Easy to put together but instructions are a bit confusing. Once you figure out their crazy diagrams, goes together quickly. Good solid piece of furniture.

OK bookcases, terrible assembly instructions.
It's ok for flat packed fake wood furniture. Not ugly, better quality than some others. If I wasn't renting, I would buy longer-lasting, better quality furniture. The instructions for assembly are horrible, and they are even worse for the corner bookcase/shelf unit. Good luck with the instructions if you purchase.
