Horrible purchase Sad bc it’s so cute! It didn’t sled on the snow it would barely go down a hill everyone else was breezing past us. Had to return.

0 stars, the sled is like sandpaper riding on sandpaper.

Didn’t work. We were the only ones at the hill with a sled that literally didn’t work.

Like other users are reporting, this sled does not slide. We tried everything, less weight, more weight, steep hill - but it just went so slow and then would just stop every few feet. It’s very cute, and easy to store but I would not recommend buying it.

We were a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but this worked great for us this past week, sledding 4 days in a row with 1-2 people at a time. We’re new to sledding so we don’t have too much to compare to. I’m guessing it might not be as fast as some of the plastic ones, but that was actually better for us. It certainly gave us enough speed and distance on the hills we were on to make for some very fun snow days.

It is cute, but is does not slide on the snow, no matter what adjustments in position/surface are made. It’s pretty worthless for its intended purpose.

Wasted $18 on a sled that doesn’t work for my 5yr old. All the good reviews are not in the snow lol Wish I could return it

Didn’t work well at all. Such a disappointment

Does not sled. We bought this sled as we own a polar bear sled that is similar in shape. We used both sled and the same sledding hill and the penguin sled just would not go. We tried for on a Child and on an Adult with no luck. Might be possible to wax the bottom for better luck. Another family on the same sled hill had the exact same sled with no luck either. Unsure exactly why it doesn't work.

Bought this because it was adorable- sadly, it does not work as a sled. Not even once we had packed down a sled run- it just would not go. My kids were pretty bummed that their sledding didn’t go as planned.

I had so much fun using this sled with the kids when it snowed and can’t wait to continue using it. I loved that the sled is made out of a soft material that doesn’t hurt to sit on while sledding. I don't think it's super sturdy it should be a little less flimsy. It's made of foam so it's prone to bending and breaking. It would be great for small hills and smaller children possibly from 6-8 year olds. Any other or younger and I think it would be unsafe. Overall, I like it but I don't love it and definitely think it's more worth it to buy a sturdier sled. I received an incentive to write this review.

Love the adorable design with the bright colors. The sled was made mainly out of foam and the handles seemed very sturdy for holding onto when going down the hills. You can lay on your belly or even sit on your bottom and hold on. The bottom is very slick to make gliding on the snow a breeze! This is the perfect Christmas gift for your children! I will say that the material is more of like a Styrofoam material so it definitely isn’t a very sturdy sled, but it’s perfect for your young ones.
