Q: how to make this dimmable?

A: Hi - if you want dimmer functionality with this lamp design, just add a line cord tabletop dimmer to it. You plug the lamp into the dimmer cord, and then the dimmer cord plugs into a socket. On the cord is a dimmer switch which allows you to set the light level to whatever level you would like. Hope this helps, thanks for the question!

Caught on fire!
Bought this a few years ago and have loved it but today it just caught on fire! I heard a pop and then saw smoke, the bulb and the electric socket assembly had burned. I quickly unplugged it. Very scary. I gave it two stars because it's been a good lamp up until now.

Initially delivered with a dented shade, but lamps plus made is SO easy to get a new part delivered! In couldn't believe how easy it was. Friendly and accommodating service. Aesthetics- wise, the lamp is perfect where it lives now, on a small stand nest to a bed. Just the right casual- pretty look I was hoping for.
