Make sure you use your own anchors and screws
These lamps are easy to install and fairly priced, but the provided anchors (weirdly rubbery) and screws (cheap) are not good. I recommend replacing them completely. If you are in any way concerned about the lamps being perfectly flush with the wall, the lamps might disappoint you, but we were able to make them work for us.

I searched everywhere for this shape and color. I only found it on Lamps Plus. It was a little brassier than I thought it would be. I wanted a softer brass that was less bright and shiny. But there really aren't any other options out there at this price point. It was a breeze to put up. I tried several lightbulbs to find the right color and brightness.

Nice style, solid quality.
I purchased these as the Schoolhouse Electric ones I wanted were way out of my budget! These are a solid quality fixture. One did arrive with some mild scratching on the finish, but nothing much and purely cosmetic in a not so noticable area. They were easy to install and look really high end. I kind of wish the switch was on the light fixture itself, but having it on the cord is just fine.

The plug in version is simple to install. I used paintable cord covers to hide the cord, leaving the switch uncovered in the middle. I liked that the switch was clear - blended into the wall better. High quality for a good price.

I have purchased two of this style of lamp and I love them both! They look more expensive than they are and fit in well with a mid-century look. They are also the perfect size to tuck into a corner or nook and the transparent cord disappears.

The bedside lamps are great, very nice looking. The drywall anchors were no good at all. We made 2 attempts with the anchors, they made holes in the wall and the anchors simply turned in the drywall, did not expand and accept the screws. We patched the holes, bought new anchors and they went in perfectly. Bottom line: Do not use included drywall anchors!

I use to work in high end decorative lighting for a designer in Manhattan and a Lighting manufacturer in Brooklyn. I know good quality when I see it.For the price you won't find better quality and design anywhere else. YThere is a better selection here and the quality is the same if not better than those name brand places.
