A: Hi there - no, this lamp does not have a 3-way switch, and it can't use a 3-way light bulb. It has a regular on-off socket switch and can use bulbs up to 100 watts maximum. Thank you for the question.

Beautiful design
This lamp goes well with our neutral bedroom theme, and the glass base is lovely to look at each morning. The construction quality is what you might expect from a Chinese import -- when putting it together, the cloth base came off and I had to reattach it so the cord would not show. Also, it's difficult to keep the cord from twisting when screwing the top portion into the base, take time and care to get it right otherwise the cord gets all twisted inside the base. Still, a nice lamp for the price.
