rare 3M miss

i expected more from 3M as every single product from them i've got except this one has been either more than satisfactory or more often exceptional. this however, is not that. it's below average. it pools water and it's very difficult to keep optically clean. i tend to keep glasses pristine for a long time so i don't know about scratches. the shape is excellent, comfort is amazing, no issue with coverage. good for narrow faces. the nose bridge is great and easy to remove for cleaning. the material and lack of hydrophobicity is a huge issue with these. at least they're cheap, but they're on the level of other cheap glasses, not on the level of 3M in my opinion.

Best safety glasses I've had yet

So comfortable, don't fog up under a weld or grinding helmet, fit is definitely for those with larger heads, but won't slide off with the rubber coated nose pad and arms. These rest on my cheeks and eyebrows, but not enough to notice.

I have used these for quite a while now and find they work great! They don't fog up and are comfortable to wear. They will scratch pretty easily, but all safety glasses do. We work in all temperature ranges from below freezing to roasting, and they don't fog up!
They Fill With Water

I thought these would be great glasses to wear due to the hot and dusty environment I work in, but I was wrong. I have found that because they seal so well around my eyes, they actually fill up with water. They don't fog up, instead, the water from your body collects around the bottom seal of the glasses. This filling of sweat not only burns the eyes, but causes the glasses to act as bifocals. While wearing the glasses the other day, I misjudged a step because of the bifocal effect and fell; luckily it was only one step I fell. I also have found that these glasses scratch very easily unless you clean them with soap and water, and that is something I don't have available to me out in the field.
