The top fabric is VERY thin. The bottom fabric is basically gauze or cheesecloth. I washed it once, and it shed (what I'm guessing is batting/ middle layer) and pilled. I don't expect it to last through more than a couple of launderings. $30 should be the max price point.

Initially I thought it would be rough to the touch, but this was an example of "do not judge a book by its cover." The fabric is very soft to the touch. Also, the colors work for any season. The red and yellow work for fall while the blue and white give a summery/spring feel. Additionally, this bedspread is light enough to use during the summer, but also semi warm for the winter if you add a blanket on the super cold nights. If you sleep warm this this bedspread would be perfect for you. I am always cold so I folded the bedspread once and used it as a throw blanket on the couch and I was comfortable. The tag says "dry clean only." However, after I washed the bedspread on the most delicate cycle, I dried it for a little while on the lowest heat setting and then spread it between a couple of chairs to air dry. It came out perfectly!! (I do NOT recommend washing it on a regular cycle or using a medium/high heat setting.) I don't think that with the way the bedspread is sewn it would last long for those with dogs allowed on the bed or young children. It's a bit too delicate with all the stitching. Overall, I highly recommend this bedspread. It's soft, comfy, and will look great any time of the year.

The quality of the material is outstanding, it makes the room look very summer like with the bright colors it fits on the queen bed very well. It’s also very soft and it comes with matching pillowcases. Very nice set, the only down side to the comforter set is that it needs to be dry clean meaning I’m not going to be able to wash it here at home but I don’t mind taking it. Overall I’m very happy with the comforter set I do recommend it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my Tracy stripe kantha 3-piece cotton quilt coverlet. I have a queen size bed and the full/ queen fits great. The quilt size is 90 inch by 90 inch and the sham size is 20 inch by 26 inch, the colors are a rust yellow white and blue stripes. I wish the coverlet had the stripes on both sides, but it is still nice and soft and looks great on my bed. The coverlet comes pre–washed which was great for tossing on my bed right out of the bag. I will definitely be telling my friends about the beautiful set.

It is not a heavy, hot quilt...its perfect. The colors are soft and beautiful. Pillow shams add extra beauty to your bed. I have washed it and it washes up so nice. This is definitely my favorite. It is a cozy light weight warm.

It comes with matching pillowcases which are really easy to put on but don't come off accidently in the middle of the night or from moving your pillow around. It's a very well made quilt set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not exactly sure what Tracy stripe pick stitch Kantha yarn dyed cotton woven means, but it is a pretty nice bedspread I think. Me not having any fashion sense I'm going to put it on for the fall because with the colors it has it gives it a fall feeling to me. Alternating red, orange, white and blue stripes in a somewhat pastel hue of various widths running length ways. Could also use in the spring too I guess. It seems to be all purpose. The large white stitching which I'm assuming is the kantha yarn gives it an old fashioned feel like a quilt. It's very soft but it is a little thin so it's definitely a decoration instead of keeping you warm on a cold winter night. Overall I like it.
