A: Thank you for your questions. The answers are in the highlights of this item on the website. The Lancer 3PC Tavern Set holds up to 275lbs per stool and 100lbs for the table. The faux stone top is a paper wrapped top over MDF.

Q: Aloha- What tools are required to assemble this set and can one person assemble it alone? Also do termites eat rubberwood [the material site says is used to make this set] ?Mahalo

A: An Allen key is provided and you also need a Philips screwdriver; according to Google - termites should not eat rubberwood because there are other components that are used to construct this item such as MDF & Paper Veneer

Cheapy table not the best but it works
It is put together but the chairs are a bit wobbly and you will need wood glue and a hammer to put the the wooden cover parts. Also there is a chip but where I have it - you can hide it. Lastly good luck getting the seat cushion screwed in- there isn’t any pilot holes- so I just put it in- technically doesn’t need to be screwed in.

This set was exactly what I was looking for my small kitchen. I also couldn’t spend a lot of money. My 2 teenagers kids use it everyday to eat breakfast or eat a snack. I love the fact that on the top is vinyl material and you can wipe it off with a wet sponge. Oh by the way my daughter assembled it by herself.

Damaged and disappointed
The table arrived a day early so I was very excited. However, when I took the table out of the box, it was damaged on one of the table top corners and in two corners where the legs are suppose to attach. There is no way to hide this damage and honestly it looks horrible. Because of the damage where the legs should attach, the legs are not sturdy.

Cheap because that’s how it’s built. The paper wood was already chipped. It’s a tall table but the legs are too small to make it sturdy, and makes it look awkward. If you’re not going to use it much it should work for you.
