40" Summer Pinwheel - Sun Squad™

This item is great - if you keep it in a shady area. The colors definitely fade if left in direct sunlight. But it holds up to other weather (rain and wind). It’s cute for the yard for a few months - would probably buy again.

Colors fade in sun :(. The red, orange and pink faded to white in only 1 month.

The item works fine but became sun bleached pretty quickly. I’m talking maybe 2 weeks? I’ve only owned it a month. The yellow, orange, and pink are completely faded to white and green and blues are fairly pale.

For something from “sun squad” this sure can’t handle sun. Ours became the color of the attached photo after 2 days in our garden. The cute thing I bought became garbage in less than a week.

I found this over-sized Pinwheel randomly at Target, and thought it was adorable and bright for summer - and it’s tall too, close to three feet. I was wishing for a second one and I really lucked out and I found a second one kind of in a rather random location at Target. And bonus… when I got home and looked at my receipt I realized I got a very good sale. I couldn’t be happier. I do appreciate another consumer review suggesting to not leave it in full sun, so it won’t fade. Great advice. I guess the wood like material on the base means I probably should not leave this out doors when not using. So I guess I will save it for when I’m entertaining. If the base wasn’t a wood like material I think it might be more durable.

It’s super colorful and very sturdy with a good quality wooden stick to attach to something or put in the ground. It measure 40 inches tall and you can see in my review pictures next to my daughter holding it. She enjoyed watching it blow around! It’s very pretty and would definitely recommend! This pinwheel has a different color on each fan blade. It’s placed on a stick that’s about two feet tall. The pinwheel itself is larger than my hand. This looks great next to my bushes along my walkway. The colors really green your attention. I received an incentive to write this review.

The colors are super bright and cheerful, and it spins nicely with just a little breeze. It was easier to pop into the ground, and it is nice and sturdy. It definitely is a great yard decoration but it can also be used as a traditional pinwheel, but it is big so I would suggest using it while it is staked into the ground. The fun of watching it spin on the windy summer days would be great. It is large in size to make a statement that summer is here. I would recommend placing it in a flower bed or in an area that it can be seen easily. The pinwheel is made up of six different summer colors. I would recommend this well made pinwheel to everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is so cute and fun. My 3 year old is obsessed. It is bigger than her (which she loves). It seems decently sturdy, she was being pretty rough with it and it has held together. It is very lightweight and easy to move around. There is a point at the bottom to stick into the ground easily. Light wind is able to move the wheel. My kids love watching it spin from the window. It is a fun addition for our backyard. I received an incentive to write this review.

I don’t recommend for outdoor use as the colors faded after a week outside. I placed in direct sunlight. I recommend putting it in a shaded area or keeping it on a back patio.

I do have a toddler and loves it so much!
