A: I just purchased this watering can and the tag on it says that it is good for outdoor/indoor use but mentions nothing about it being food safe. It would make a great pitcher if it was food safe.

I really love this watering "can." I've recently taken up some light gardening, and wanted something that is useful but also aesthetically pleasing to water my plants. This fits the bill. I liked a lot of the metal cans, but most reviews mentioned either leaking, rusting, or both, which is why I went with glass. So, yes, it's fragile, but I'd prefer that over potential leaking or rusting. My one-star reduction is because you can't fill it to the top without it spilling out. If there was a lip over the top where the spout is to prevent that, it'd get five stars.

So sorry but I do not recommend. Water everywhere as unfortunately it pours over the top. Maybe there is a trick to it but so far with 5 watering days ,it's been a mess. It's a beauty but a pain!

This watering can looks even better in person. The shade of green is the chef's kiss. It's modern, elegant and versatile. Just a warning, the glass is somewhat fragile. Could be used for a flower case or for display. I use it to water my indoor plants.

Order by mail came broken not once, but twice. Extremely disappointed as this item is not available anymore. There was NOTHING protecting the glass pitcher except paper. Target needs to start packaging things better or I’m just going back to Amazon to buy things.
