A: Hi - the manufacturer doesn't specify beyond calling it a driftwood finish, but to our eye this fan has a more matte finish. It is not a gloss shiny finish. Thanks for the question!

Although the light/fan appears white in this photo, I actually got the wood fan/light. This fan is functional and aesthetically pleasing!

Over the years I have installed four of these fans. I love the sleek ergonomic design, unobtrusive look, and excellent performance. The additional lighting capability makes for an all-purpose fixture that has provided me with air circulation throughout the year. I actually might not ever consider any other ceiling fan!

I am somewhat perplexed with this fan as although it is aesthetically pleasing I find it so noisy. It's not an out of balance noise but a loud hum that I am guessing is from the motor. Back to the drawing board to order another brand of fan from a different brand as this is not ideal in the bedroom location!

We love this fan, it has so many features from different fan settings to a dimmable light. It really keeps the room cool. We had an electrician install it.

I love this fan. Was purchased for small room and it puts out a lot of air on low speed. So you can imagine what it can do on medium or high speed. Fan is so quiet I have to look up to see that it is on. The light is very bright but is dimmable. Cannot say enough positive things. I will be purchasing 3 of the 52 inch fans for other bedrooms.

I really like the look of this fan. It moves air very well and aesthetically is just what my husband and I wanted. It is beautiful and quiet. However, they have been up only two week and we had to reprogram one and the other needs a new receiver. Also, to be totally transparent, if we had known it may need reprogramming after high wind or a lighting storm, we probably wouldn’t have bought it.

Very nice, modern and quiet fan. Homeowner installed with minimal issues. Light is very bright which is a plus. After reading the directions it doesn’t seem like you can install more than one in your home since you cannot change the code on the remotes, so double check that if you are planning on multiple purchases.
