I should have known from the price but this table was a HUGE pain to put together and not what I was expecting. First of all, just fyi, the base is not wood it’s sheet metal that has been formed to create a fluted look. Also, it comes in 3 sheets you have to put together while not scratching your body or floors. Put protection on both. Second, the table top is for pieces that you have to put together. I will say that those pieces are fairly solid feeling wood and once together look fine. Overall, once it was done, I think it looks nice so I will keep it. But if you can afford more go for the wooden base version of the table if it’s an option. Lastly, do not do this alone. You will sweat. You may cry. I do not recommend.

The table is beautiful, the set up… brutal. I can’t put into words how difficult it was to put this table together. It feels like you’re working against every piece and you question everything about the instructions as you forcefully work through building this. The base of the table is incredibly painful to work through and took my partner and myself 3 hours to put together. Not because it was confusing but because of the material.
