Description

The Tranquility Weighted Blanket applies deep calming pressure to help you fall asleep and wake rested. This weighted blanket utilizes Deep Touch Pressure Therapy (DTP) through the application of gentle, even pressure across your body. The results mimic the feeling of being held or hugged. The blanket features innovative temperature balancing technology to keep you cool when it's warm, and warm when it's cool. The removable cover is machine washable to easily clean up any messes or spills. There are 16 loops and ties to ensure the blanket stays in place inside the cover and provide even weight distribution. For the best results, you should select a weight that is 8% to 12% of your total body weight.

Worth every penny

GREAT blanket for travel! Hotels tend to have beautiful but lightweight bedding and this twin size(ish) blanket worked perfectly to add weight for better sleep. One side is smooth, the other with a short nap. The color is a soft gray, and the cover zips off for cleaning. We used it for a week and had zero problems with bunching, sliding off the bed or leaky pellets (or whatever gives it weight) All in all we didn’t find a thing wrong with it and thoroughly enjoyed having a “portable” one.

This was just what I was looking for! A weighted blanket that gives pressure to help me (a person who at times struggles to fall asleep at night) sleep. I love how it is also temperature balancing, it is heavy and seems warm but I slept with it in the summer (with air conditioning) and it was perfect. It’s worth the money.

4 year review!

i got this blanket as a gift a few years ago. i’m wearing it right now and i am so comfy i HAD to come write a review. this is literally the one item that i will definitely have for the rest of my life. i know it’s a bit pricey but you wont regret it whatsever. It’s amazing quality after 4 ish years it’s held up extremely well not a single thing wrong with it. I will say though getting the cover back on after washing it is sooo frustrating but i feel like that with duvet covers so it’s the same thing. It’s a good weight as well it’s not too heavy but not light either. All in all its well worth your money it’s so comfy and after 4 years no wear and tear!

The weight is good and the cover really is removable as advertised. However, this blanket does nothing to regulate temperature. I overheat quickly every time I use it. I plan to return.

The material is soft, warm and oh so comfortable so I can get a better night's sleep. The weight helps to calm my mind. I chose this blanket over others because the cover comes off to wash and dry. After I take the cover off to wash and dry it, I shake the blanket to redistribute the beads before putting the cover back on. I highly recommend a weighted blanket if you have anxiety or depression.
