Q: Will stacking eventually leave scratch marks on the glasses. OR, wear the stripes off? Is the stripe added to the outer side of the cup whereas it can be worn off from stacking them?

These striped tumblers are made of Methyl Methacrylate Styrene this material is generally more scratch-resistant than some other plastics, minor scratches from stacking are possible over time. These cups cute, and supposedly dishwasher safe, but beware—washing them in the DW dramatically fades the colors. The photo shows a comparison with a cup from this product series that hasn’t been washed in the dishwasher—sorry the lighting isn’t great!

We purchased these so that each member of our family would have a designated cup color so we wouldn't keep grabbing new ones. The color washed off almost immediately, especially on the yellow ones. They said top-rack dishwasher safe, but all the color washes off.

Packaging on dishes and the cups themselves say dishwasher safe but they are NOT! Color came off after going through dishwasher. Also they do stack but get really stuck together. Do not buy.

Great size and super cute for summer patio parties. I always look forward to Target's summer selections for outdoor dining. The plastic seems sturdy and the colors are fast. I don't run these type of glasses through the dishwasher.
