A: No, it does not. You insert the batteries and use a switch to turn on.

Q: hi, There is a wire attached to the Try Me button the tleads to the house. What do I do with this wire after I have discarded the button?

This ceramic cottage shaped light is perfect for the holidays or everyday display. It’s just the right size and would make a great accent piece on a shelf, end table or group it with other decor for a nice centerpiece. This can be used with or without turning on the light switch, which is powered by 2 triple A batteries (not included). The house is a light cream in color with painted red stripes. This would really be cute to display at Christmas, Valentine’s Day, 4th of July and/or Memorial and Veterans Day, so a multi use piece that looks great and adds some color to any room.

Bright and shiny Christmas house!
Very cute decoration, great for Christmas decorating but subtle enough that you could use it as a decoration all winter long. I like the colorful red stripes on the roof giving it a little pop of color, and the light up interior is especially inviting. The light has a switch (on, off, timer) and a replaceable AAA batteries. An all around cute decoration for the winter!

This house is such a fun addition to my holiday decorations! The ceramic house is great quality and lights up. There is a switch on the bottom to either have it on, off, or on a timer. When it is lit up, the light shines through the windows on the house. It requires two AAA batteries that are installed on the bottom. On the top of the roof, it is red and white stripes with white glitter, which makes it look like it’s snow.

Christmas house
So excited to start my Christmas village. This made a cute start. It is battery powered. The colors are simple but still beautiful. The glitter does transfer when handling. But a simple hand wash fixes that issue.
