Really surprised by reviews from those who said it was hard to open, you just pull the tabs and it’s ready to use - so simple! This is very strong and sturdy wrapping paper and perfect for Hanukkah gifts. And only $3! Great purchase.

Adorable and easy to open!
This paper is a nice weight and is just adorable. It is very childish, so you might just want it for your younger gift recipients. I am confused about the reviews that had trouble opening the roll. Mine came with a little tab that pulled down and removed a paper covering that is not part of the roll at all. There was no waste, just a small and separate piece of paper that covered the full roll. It was easy to use and wasted no plastic. Kudos to Target for eliminating plastic waste!

Great paper- awful pull tab opening
Great paper for wrapping kids gifts- and the quality of the paper itself is really nice, thick and doesn’t tear easily. The one dislike- is the design of opening the package which involves pull tabs at either end of the roll. At first I didn’t realize there were instructions on this and then when I started to pull them, it was tearing into the wrapping paper itself and I effectively ended up wasting paper and struggling to get the thing open altogether. PLEASE change this design- it’s terrrible and wasteful.

It's glued closed so you loose paper trying to open it up to wrap gifts.
The wrapping paper is cute and nice and thick to wrap gifts, but it's not covered in plastic and the company glued the wrapping paper so I literally had to loose a quarter of the paper to be able to open it and rip thru the glued paper to be able to start wrapping gifts. Next time wrap your paper in plastic like everyone else do and don't be so cheap and glue it closed. Bad bad decesion.

Holiday gift wrap
Although the paper is great, this year, they glued down the whole seam of the edge instead of just putting it in cellophane to keep the role together. On gluing it tour about 8 inches wide, and full length of the roll. So that’s a loss. I bought quite a number of rolls of paper so you can imagine how much waste there is. Please go back to the cellophane wrap to keep the roll together. I gave it five stars for the quality, but now I have to buy more wrap to match and cover all the presents.

Better than expected!
This paper is better than I expected for the price. I thought it would be super thin and rip easily, but it’s medium weight and doesn’t tear when wrapping. It doesn’t come in plastic wrap, but if you follow the instructions by pulling the tab, it opens very easily. I would definitely buy again! Hard to beat the price!
