50"x60" Diamond Throw Blanket - Design Imports

A used item. This was not listed as a third party seller, but seems to be. It was meant to be a gift, but I received a smelly ( perfume plus mold odor) blanket with no tags, nothing. It was thrown in a plastic bag, and shipped in a poly mailer. If Indidnt know better, I’d have thought it was a mistake like a preowned eBay purchase only I bought this from Target. Come on Target do better- maybe screen where you are sourcing products from, or at least make it clear you are ordering from a reseller who is shipping things from their basement. GROSS

Looks nice, but it has strange odor that smells like a combination of musty basement and twice-baked fabric softener. The odor dimished very slightly after 3 washes (detergent, then vinegar, then oxy-bleach), but still not enough for the blanket to be usable indoors. I'm guessing it's some type of chemical treatment for the cotton. The blanket is fairly light and thin and might be useful outdoors, assuming you can tolerate the odor. The blanket also shed enough fibers in the wash to make a small sweater (do NOT wash this with anything else in the drum) and left an inch-thick layer of lint in the trap. As expected, it shrank quite a bit and is closer to 48" x 52".

Arrived moldy. Returned immediately

It looks fine, but it smells weird and I can’t get past it. I am probably going to use it when I’m sitting outside by the fire since it already stinks.

It has a nice texture to it and it goes perfect with my farmhouse chic decor. The only complaint I have is it had a weird smell to it when I got it out of the package. I washed it and it was as good as new!

It’s pretty warm as a blanket but it’s not super soft. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cute decor piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this Nautical Blue Diamond Throw to place on the back of my couch for cooler nights. It pairs well with my living room decor. I am not happy with my current throw blanket. It is pretty flimsy. This Nautical Blue Diamond Throw is really thick and keeps me really warm. I am pretty picky when it comes to fabrics and I really appreciate that this is made from 100% cotton. The fringe stays put unlike some other lesser quality throws. The real test is the washing the throw. It passed just fine. It stayed soft and you can tell that it is well made by the way that it held up in the washer. I am very happy with my choice of throws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my DII - GRAY DIAMOND THROW and I happy with it, more or less. Before buying it, when I saw it’s picture, it seem a little different to me. But I guess it is alright. It is different, but not bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the gray color of this gray diamond throw, as it is a neutral color that goes well with everything. It is a lightweight knit type of blanket, but it is not very soft so we use it over another blanket (which is soft) or just for decoration. I do wish it was softer to the touch as well as a bit warmer, but it is a nice accent piece and can work well in the not too cold temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This white diamond throw is a decent throw blanket. The material that it is made from is very light weight and thin. Because of this, it doesn't work well as an actually blanket, but I use it on the couch as decoration and to protect the top of the couch from starch marks due to my cat running across the top of my couch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this to actually bring in the car for warmth in my lap! My car does a good job of warming the upper body and feet but not the mid-section. It folds up nicely and even when it’s warm I still use it.

This throw is not to heavy and not to light it’s perfect. It is also big enough for my whole body and not too short where my feet hang out of it. Great little throw for me to use to keep warm and to look good on the back of a couch or chair.

So I wanted a neutral and warm, textured throw blanket that would look nice folded on the back of our new couch. This blanket is the perfect size for throwing over your legs for a little extra warmth. And it's the perfect size to cover my small child during nap time. It isn't heavy but it isn't too lightweight either. It's the perfect weight.

When I look for a throw blanket, I'd like it to be soft and cozy. I didn't quite get that feeling with this blanket. It is nice for show though.
