I got this for a great price on sale. Other similar bases with wheels go for much more. I live in a condo so just needed shade for a portion of my small back patio. This works great. The tilt feature is really nice to provide some privacy and to shade from the sun of course. The color is pretty and the tassels give a Palm Springs vibe. I haven’t had it long enough to know if the color will fade but I cover it with the pouch it came in when not in use to help with that. Also, I’ll be heeding the other reviewers and will keep the umbrella closed and in a corner when not in use during the summer and will put it in my shed during the winter. It’s a few extra steps but worth it if it will help maintain the product for longer.

I bought 4 of these to use on the patio and around the pool last year. The paint chips very easily which I realize can be spray painted. But they don’t keep the umbrella up. Slight wind and the whole thing tips over. Already broke one of my umbrellas because of it. Also, the wheels no longer want to lock or unlock due to rust. Don’t waste your time.

Only had it for about 5 months before it broke. The base is sturdy but the pole where you put in the umbrella becomes loose pretty quickly until it eventually just snaps off. Pretty disappointed.
