These burp cloths are definitely not muslin, as claimed otherwise on the listing and verified by the contents. Viscose fabrics are actually rayon, which muslin is not. Having worked with muslin fabric and various fabrics for years, viscose is not mildew resistant, is not absorbable, not breathable, and wrinkles very easily---all which doesn't apply to authentic muslin. While these burp cloths claim to be manufactured with cotton, as does muslin, they are NOT muslin. Target and its seller are now exposed for fraud and peddling deceptive items. Absolutely NOT recommended for infants particularly as RAYON can be detrimental for any infant's breathing if it should accidentally cover baby's face.

We love the soft feel of these burp cloths and they have great absorbency. We have the thicker, padded ones from the same company, but these are my preference for wiping spit up from baby’s face or clothing. They’ve also washed well.

These are great. Wash well and absorb well. Other spit up cloths just drips off, but this one keeps it all in place. I bought another pack and donated the other burp clothes that weren’t this fabric.
