A: Hi - no, the downrod is part of the fan design. You can add extra downrods, but you cannot retract it. Thank you for the question.

Looks Good, Poor Quality.
Looks good, but stopped working after 8 months of avg daily use. Bought this ceiling fan late 2021. Fan controller and/or motor has failed. Parts/repair cost more than replacement. i will be replacing with a lower cost, higher quality ceiling fan/light.
