Sun Zero Room Darkening Cooper Thermal Insulated Grommet Curtain Panel

These curtain panels are just what my daughter needed for her college apartment. They block out light and help with keeping it cool in the Florida heat.

I bought these curtains because they were well priced. The quality is better than expected.

This set of thermal curtain panels provide a slight darkening effect to the ambience of a room; it lowers the intensity of natural lighting without being left in the dark. Overall, it is an excellent product. There is, however, a strong smell that accompanies the curtains, which will go away in a short while.

I purchased these exact curtains originally in 2021 I believe, and upon moving, I needed at least one more panel. These curtains have nothing in common with the original quality other than maintaining the perfect green leaning dark teal which is why I kept it. Instead of being a fabric, it has a plastic coating on the inside and whatever it's now made out of is extremely cheap feeling, has a weird sheen and texture to it. Not happy.

These were not as pictured or described. They were supposed to be white but were not. Very cheap fabric felt like plastic. Returned them promptly.

I purchased 4. Quality is good and for the price can’t complain

The quality is not the best. The texture feels very odd. The curtains are stiff and so wrinkly.

Product is good. My only regret is that the color is much darker than it appears in the catalog.

Up against gaming room walls for cool comfort in the summer time.

Love the weight and color. Only semi-room darkening but that’s all I needed. Great value!!

These curtains feel, look, and smell like a disposable table cloth. Fine for college. But if you’re not broke, get something much better for $20.

I liked how they looked so I kept them even though the texture was a little strange (stiff and plastic-ish). But after 5 months or so in use, I started noticing the terrible chemical/toxic smell. I think it's because the windows are getting hot from sun ( I hanged them up in colder month). I am throwing them away. not sure this happens for all the colors. Mine were white.

Was hoping they'd be white but there are definitely cream lines throughout the entire curtain. I'm not mad about it because they go fine in the room I was putting them in but if I was looking for a pure white shade then yes I most certainly would be mad! Other than that, they're perfect. I doubled up on how many I would need because when using grommet curtains, you have to consider the bunching and scrunching that happens. But for this price?! Couldn't be mad.

Exactly what I needed. Sun streams through this window as soon as it comes up, curtains block it out as well as heat associated with the sunlight.

I bought these curtains in Dec 2018. As of Feb 2021, the insulation/white panel has disintegrated after 2.5-ish years of sun exposure. Whenever the curtains are touched, a suspect chalky-white powder/dust clings to whatever has brushed up against the insulation layer. We have no idea what's in this plastic-like layer. It rubs off into a fine powder/dust and it's super concerning. Are we low-key breathing this stuff in? Aside from the very short 2.5ish year lifespan of these curtains (and potential health hazards they pose?), they did a decent job of insulating and blocking some light. The fabric portion of the panels was fine for the price. Not super pretty, but they got the job done (until the lining started to disintegrate). Overall, I don't recommend these curtains unless you plan to use them only for 1-1.5 years. It's not worth creating waste (e.g. throwing them away bc of the mysterious chalky powder/dust that they emit). If you can afford higher quality curtains, don't buy these because you'll have to buy replacements in a couple of years anyway.

They are very well made curtain panels. They are indeed blackout. I got the charcoal color and they are a dark grey with a hint of silver throughout. Happy with my purchase!

These are perfect. I love the neutral color and they block out nearly all the light. These aren’t insanely expensive 100% light blocking, but it gets it dark enough to sleep during the day.

I bought the white curtain, but it is not like the picture from the website! It has beige stripes.

I was pleasantly surprised by these! The darkening level is described well in the product title “Room Darkening” so they aren’t blackout. Theres a streetlight that shines in my room and these took care of that. The quality is quite nice although the wrinkles have proven hard to get out without access to an iron. I’m here to rave aboit the insulation! My room was super drafty while my roommate’s was super warm so she’d blast the AC and I was left freezing my butt off. Not anymore. I can’t believe they worked! Great product for the price!

The pictures and description are very deceiving. They do NOT darken the room AT ALL and feel like a shower curtain.
