Tools neccesary!
You need tools for this. The description is a lie. You at the least need a screwdriver but a power drill is much more useful. The website for the tutorial videos does not exist anymore. It is ok but seems very cheaply made. Unfortunately I did not take into account the bracket in the middle and because of that it does not fit where I wanted to put it.

PaceN: Thank you for your feedback. This item installs tool-free in standard hollow drywall—just push it in for a strong, secure hold. If there’s a stud or a different wall material, you can use screws instead. Our website is currently being updated, and the installation videos will be back online very soon. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’re sorry for any confusion this caused. If you need any help in the meantime, please reach out to us at customerexperience@satorihomeltd.com—we’re happy to assist!

No tools needed, unless you do need them.
Quick instal, no tools buuuut it still makes holes in your wall and doesn't work with all walls. It comes with a pointy bit that you can push into the wall by hand but only into drywall with no stud behind it. I thought it was going to be a command strip type situation, not something that would put holes in my wall. I'm ok with holes but my wall is some sort of wood so I cannot actually mount this without a drill and I do not own a drill. Which is why I bought this in the first place! Its a neat concept but doesn't work for me. I saw a different one that only requires a hammer while I was in store so I will return and buy that one instead.

Lou- Thank you for your note and you are correct. As stated, this item works with no tools for hollow drywall. It is designed to be a stronger hold than screws, tape or nails when installed this way. Unlike other items in the market, should your wall location have a stud behind it, or be a different material, you can install it with optional screws. We also produce nail rod sets which can hammer as you said. However, that is a different application and does incorporate a hammer, and while strong, does not support the load of this no-tool bracket.

Curtain rods that ate
I looked great once it was up my wood floors match the wood grain and really brought my place together, I have black out real heavy ones on and it’s sturdy , plus the double rod so I can add sheer back curtains is a plus making it look so clean

Not for if you want high curtains
They are beautiful, sturdy rods, but they are not for if you want to mount your curtains close to the ceiling. They give you 2 options for installing- without tools and with tools. With the no tool method, you have to point the bracket vertical to puncture the drywall with prongs. With the drill method, you have to drop the bracket into the mounting plate from the top after it’s screwed in. So with both methods you are limited from the ceiling by the length or width of the bracket, which is quite big. Super disappointing.

JM: Thank you for praising the sturdiness and beauty of our Easy-Install Double Curtain Rod, despite it not being the right product for your circumstances. For installation, a clearance of 2-1/2" is needed from the ceiling for the screw-in method and 4-1/2" for the prong method.

Nice looking double rod
They look good and seem to be pretty sturdy. I installed this double rod over over 2 windows a few months ago and so far so good.

This is not 120 in total but 111 in total
This is not 120 in total but 111 in total, one is 43, one is 35 and the other is 34 inches.

K121: Our Double Curtain Rod should indeed extend up to 120 inches, excluding the finial ends. The 66"-120" rod set should include one 43" inner rod and two 42" outer rods. We recommend you return the item for a replacement from where you purchased it. We apologize for the inconvenience.
