Defects in finish.
I ran them through the dishwasher after taking them out of box. My son right away noticed marks on all the forks and knives. They are in the same spot on most pieces so must be a factory defect. Very noticeable because of the shiny finish. They also smudge with every touch. Otherwise the weight and design are good.

The forks themselves are nice. They are a great weight and size. The issue comes with the way they’re packaged. The forks are zip tied to a cardboard hanger. There is nothing separating them so as the forks rub together they leave scratches on each other. I realize they are inexpensive, but I felt like they should not have looked old and worn when they arrived.

Purchased because product description stated Stainless Steel 18/0. The Threshold Sussex forks Item is NOT - Stainless Steel - is not stamped into fork back, only the word china is. So not not what they are made of. Forks are quality in spite of this. Have washed by hand and dish washer. By hand leaves some water spotting. Very nice overall.
