After 2 - 3 washes in the dishwasher after normal use, rust spots are already beginning to appear. If they aren't actually dishwasher safe, just say that instead of advertising that fact.

Rust after first dishwasher run
While I love the simple, straight design, I cannot recommend these as I began to see rust spots along the edges and surfaces after the first wash. This occurred following a run in the dishwasher and being allowed to air dry. While I know the set is only $10, I'd have hoped they would have lasted longer than this.

Only buy in desparation / small budget
This silverware will damage any type of stoneware. Because of the cheap materials it will permanently leave a mark. Have tested my new silverware and know it’s not the plates. This silverware set is great if you have cheap plates that you don’t care if they don’t get damaged. Also they do not fair well in the dishwasher and got discolored after 2 washes.
