Over many decades of trying different vacuums, including Kirby, Hoover, Dirt Devil etc. I have never had a vacuum like this one!!!! It is the best vacuum I ever have had!! It does the job quite nicely without a or worrying about the battery dying soon. I have 2 little doggies and they shed badly. I loved this vacuum that I bought TWO!!! I HIGHLY recommend!!!

We have two -- and they are great for cleaning pet hair and the dryer filter. Good price, holds charge well. I wish it came with extra filters.

I received yet another compliment yesterday about this light, portable, little jewel. My household has used this same vacuum for years; I am amazed at how long its battery runs each time I use it to vacuum corners, stairs, under couch cushions, and to clean up crumbs that spill. Although the battery classification and design may have changed since we bought ours, my sense is that reviewers who have not gotten the longevity out their batteries may have charged them improperly before they initially used them and according to the instructions. Way back when we bought ours, the instructions said to give the battery a full charge and then to run the battery all the way down the first few times we used it. We did that exactly. Of course, could also be that these reviewers bought from marketplaces that send used products that have been returned within a certain date of the purchase. If those batteries were charged improperly, then they are not going to have longevity. I see this as a marketing flaw of Black+Decker--because so, so, many people do not read instructions. Black+Decker may have been remedied the battery issue with a newer design since we bought ours. There are probably lots of reasons why some people don't read instructions or watch an instructive videos.

I've had this vacuum for about 2 years. I liked it a lot at first but now it won't charge. I think there is an issue with the port/connection. When I set it on the charging pad, it charges for about 30 seconds and then stops. I can't get a high enough charge on it to use it. Seems like a product or design defect. I contacted customer service and they told me to buy a new one. I wouldn't recommend to other consumers.

This is the best design I have ever seen for a vacuum. I have cerebral palsy and this vacuum is very light and easy to grasp. I love the way the hose curves and fits into the handle. I do not have to worry about tripping on the hose. The attachments are very handy and the suction is awesome! I am a neat freak and my family teases me about collecting vacuums. This one is by far my favorite. The pet hair attachment really collects the Labrador hair from my surfaces and leaves them fur free. My only negative would be the battery is not interchangeable. I hope Black & Decker never discontinues this design! I love it!

When my original one (NMIH battery type) died after a decade of service, I was really afraid I would never be able to replace it BUT I was wrong. This design is slightly more complicated but actually improved over the original, which was a winner. Bravo B+D

I've been decently happy with this stick vacuum. It was originally a gift that was returned to me. I happily started using it as a secondary stick vacuum. It works well although I'm not impressed with its operating time, but will make do. The stick accessory leaves much to the imagination; more awkward than anything. Recently, the plastic connector clip between the metal tubes broke (photos on the website are misleading; photos make it appear as one when it's actually two) and I can no longer use it as such. I've been having a terrible time finding a replacement part and would have expected more from B&D.

Great upgrades. Just what I wanted. From 12.5V to 20V and a long arm for floor / carpet work. Excellent job. Priced right. So light makes cleaning a breeze. This is my third of this model - use it every other day as dog and I drag in something from our walks. Thank you too for making the filter and bowl water tolerant for cleaning that filter. Engineers and assemblers please give them a raise - they make repeat customers. (o:

This lives in my kitchen and helps me several times a day for quick pick-ups from spilled sugar to cleaning the produce drawer in the fridge, to cleaning the oven ( loosen debris with a razor blade first)! The floor attachment works very well on the floor as well as the short-napped kitchen runner carpet. I also take this outside to clean the lawn furniture and it is just perfect for cleaning the car! It's never run out of "juice" for me, and is always handy for quick jobs like that piece of cat fur that just landed on the stairs!

literally no battery left after about a year's use. this was a gift and it was useful until within the span of about 3 weeks, the battery completely died. i can MAYBE get 90 SECONDS use out of it now. otherwise, it sits useless on its charger. little good that does. virtually no charge left.

Received this for a Christmas gift I love the vac! It is very efficient battery lasts for quit sometime. Fits in a small place, haven’t used my large vac since I received my Black +Decker Vac. I have one small problem my ears are very sensitive and the vac is loud.

This was a gift from my son. The original was missing a small part, which is no longer available due to a slight change in the model. B&D replaced the entire unit. My 4-year old grandson like using it (that's great), and it is easy to use. I much prefer it over my old upright. The gift request was for small, hand-held machine. This fits the bill perfectly.

I have had this about two months. It's got great power and the charge lasts a long time. It does not get heavy use, and I have used it fewer than 6 times. Last time I used it, I opened the little canister to empty the dirt and a piece of hinge broke off. Unfortunately, this makes the entire unit unusable. I'm going to have to tape it when I want to use it and untape it to empty it. NOT FUN. This has never been dropped. I'm the only user and I never treat appliances roughly (I appreciate them too much to abuse them). This must be a defect in the canister. If the canister door hinge were screwed on, the door could be replaced (and likely would not have broken at all). The canister is not replaceable, either. It's one piece with the motor.

This is the most powerful, convenient handheld vacuum ever!

It is exactly what I wanted. Very happy with it! I liked the fact that it is a 20V Lithium Flex.

I bought this vacuum 2 years ago and am very happy with it. Here in the Northwest, we have pine needles and pollen like you would not believe, it is the perfect vacuum for doing the inside of the truck, cleaning up around the fireplace, doing the stairs and much much more.
