100% polyester
This is made out of 100% polyester which is literally plastic. However it's advertised as a product that can protect things from heat, heat melts plastic. Polyester items should never be sold at this price because it's the cheapest thing you can use.

Unsafe
Took a casserole dish out of the oven and put it on this for less than five minutes and it melted into a plastic like material and is now partially stuck to my dish. This should be marked as "for decoration only".

This item is not safe for hot pans. After one use it melted into a plastic like material and adhered onto the bottom of the pan. Very disappointing.

This is not safe for hot pans. I set a cookie sheet on it and it melted to the bottom of the pan. I didn’t notice it had melted and adhered to the pan and put it back in the oven and it caught on fire. It immediately melted and turned into a plastic like material.
