Very nice bookshelf with lower cabinet
I purchased three of these units for my children's rooms to store books and knick knacks. The assembly was easy. The doors were a bit hard to put together without hitting. Overall we are happy.

Happy with purchase
came together really well and looks really nice. build process was typical for these types of items. the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. the doors on the bottom are a bit thin, but look nice. i saw some reviews mentioning that they didn't come together well, but there are a lot of adjustments you can make. mine made noises when opening until i adjusted the back screws to move them a little outwards. now they're fine and symmetric.

Door Review
They hinges have these cut out circles. The hinges fit for one of my doors and not the other; so, I am unable to utilize the doors and have only open shelving. I purchased the product specifically for the doors.

unit was packaged very well. Pieces went together well. Instructions were adequate but you really have to follow them closely and take your time. The only real issue I had was adjusting the hinges to make the doors fit better.

Great looking bookcases
Bookcases look great, and feel pretty solid. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars, is because out of 2 bookcases, I had to modify the holes on the doors to make the hinges fit on 3 out of 4 doors. On top of that, the first one I built didn't have the screws to mount the hinges at all, but I did have a second bag of nails. Always double check the hardware and all of the pieces before you start building.

I would have gave this product five stars, but the door stop location holes were off 1/2 inch and doors would not close. I had to locate stops. Does not take away from the quality looks of the piece. Will be located in a bedroom and used as a book case and additional storage.

Just purchased 4 units. Adjusting the doors properly isn't for the average homeowner. Despite knowing the three adjustments, these shelves either flop and look terrible or overlap when closed. Tell me there is a video to show me how to make this work. If I can't work through it, I'm send all four units back.

I couldn't be happier with this Sauder bookcase! It looks fantastic in our living room—sleek, modern, and just the right size for both books and decorative pieces. Assembly was straightforward thanks to the clear instructions, and all the pieces were well-labeled and well-packaged. Once assembled, it felt sturdy and solid—not wobbly or cheap like some other flat-pack furniture I've bought in the past. The woodgrain finish is beautiful and elevates the whole space. Great value for the price! I'll definitely consider Sauder again for future furniture needs.
