Beautiful and sturdy
I love the look and functionality of this product. I gave it 4 stars because one side didn't click together quite right and I wish the top was flat instead of with a dip behind the crown molding.

Wobbly Mess
We are done following the directions and it sways. We then put the THIN piece of covering on the back to make it more stable?? I'm very concerned that this is going to hold 50 to 100 lbs of books for a teacher. Is this wobbly thing going to be a hazard for a student in my class and for the price how long will the particle board last? I'm VERY sad. I was so EXCITED when I saw this design on line. I was intending to purchase several more. Instead I am returning 1 of the 2 I have.

Tall Bookshelf
I always like Sauder products. This tall bookshelf suffers from the square-shape shelves (I dislike that cubby style has become the norm), but the library/label style makes a style-I-don't-care-for more pretty. Likely the square shape will help the shelves bow less in the long-term. As with all tall bookshelves, despite the sturdy bottom, I would recommend the safety strap attached to the wall (if you don't or cannot attach tip-safety-strap to the wall, don't get a tall bookshelf. Your safety is important!) Like the color I choose.

These are great bookshelves if you only need one here and there. They are NOT however capable of being nestled together to give a cohesive shelving unit on a wall w/ the flared edges.

Perfect for my space !
I needed a tall, narrow bookcase for master bedroom, many books . This bookcase is perfect . Solid and sturdy . I love that each shelf has a little "ledge", so I can prop photos in front of books . I do wish there had been a darker wood option .

I like this book case, to hold periodicals and CD's. The instruction book is full-size and valuable. They also have a phone QR for how-to. It took me 4.5 hours to assemble, and I'm mechanically inclined. The only error was attaching the back panel, I should have followed instructions as described. The product is weighty, and the package is compact.

Good quality bookcase
I really like this bookcase. The trim pieces add so much. I only wish you still carried the scribed oak color. I love the bookcase, but the color is more trendy than I like. Assembly was very straight forward and all the pieces were accounted for. Definitely recommend for price and quality

Fantastic Shelf

These are tall bookcases but nice and sturdy. You should attach them to the wall in case they tip or a kid can pull it over etc. . . Overall I really like the smaller cubby look

These bookshelves are very sturdy and fairly easy to put together. You may need help lifting it off the floor because of it's sturdiness. It's well worth the investment to buy Sauder products!

More than I expected
On some sites, people complained about how difficult these bookcases were to put together. The first one took me 3 hours because I wasn't paying attention; the second one didn't even take 2 hours. They are much sturdier than I'd thought they would be, especially for the price.
