8" LED Solar Portable Outdoor Lantern with Flame - Techko Maid: Waterproof, Weather-Resistant Lighting

Died after one year. Used it every night. Don’t know if I want to buy a new one or find a different brand. Really liked it when it worked though.

I found this to be cheaply made and cheap looking completely plastic lantern. cannot get it back fast enough. This latern also has a closure which has opening all around it for bugs to get in. Recommend seeing it before purchasing. I also wanted something to hang on an hook. This one has a flat plastic handle.

I had purchased one. It stopped working in less than two months. Looks good, but not as seen in picture, nor does it work.

Overall, I'm quite happy. I'm disappointed that the individual lights are clearly visible, making it look less graceful or natural. It looks like several amber LEDs. But I like the golden glow (doesn't show up well in my photos but does in others'), it works well and lights well, and I like the look of the lantern overall.

Pretty and functional solar lantern. Perfect for hanging out at night in the backyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall look of these lanterns and the warm glow of the light inside is the exact ambiance I am looking for. For my taste, the flame setting causes the light to oscillate too rapidly. So I only use the still mode. You will need the right spot for these. The best is out in a yard where it gets plenty of direct sun during the day and it is otherwise very dark at night. I had been hoping to use them on my already lit porch at night to add ambiance, but it was too bright for them to come on and they didn't get enough direct sun in the day to charge. I enjoy having them as lighting out in my yard though. They are durable and weather proof, so other than occasionally maybe wiping them clean they don't require any maintenance or battery changes which is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed by these Solar Portable Lanterns by Techko. I like the style and sturdiness of these lanterns, nice and simple. There is a switch to choose between a solid light or flickering light. I have placed my lanterns on each side of my front porch for lighting in my doorway at night without the need to use up electricity. I love the cozy and welcoming feeling it extends while looking at them. They come on without hitch every evening when the sun goes down. I think I may pick up a few more for my backyard patio too!

I love walking around the house with them in the middle of the night and not have to turn on the lights in the house. The amber glow they give off is just the right amount of light and not harsh at all. I love that they have an option for still lights or a flickering flame effect. Also they are waterproof which is awesome because I left them out in a rain storm one night and they were fine the next day. These lanterns also automatically charge and turn on at dusk and they turn themselves off at dawn; they are amazing! They are beautiful and I highly recommend these and have received many compliments on them.

Some of the best features are the fact you can have a white or amber light which I have never seen before, they are also solar powered which is a giant bonus. The lanterns are waterproof so if its left outside you do not have to worry. I would add more to my yard or give as a gift they work so well

They are very useful as outdoor decoration and for lighting up the pool area in a cute way for events when I'm hosting a BBQ or something like that. The fact that they are solar powered are a plus as I don't have to worry about them losing power.

Due to some warmer weather, I decided to set these outside this past week. These are great, well made lanterns. I love the flame look. They are very lightweight, but seem very durable. I was impressed with the power of these, despite the shorter winter days. I can't wait to see them in the summer!

They automatically turn on and off with daylight and nighttime too. You can also set it to flicker like a fire or just straight light. I have mine set to flicker and I think it’s very pretty. I would recommend them.

I like that they are made of a sturdy plastic so they will last long and that the on/off buttons are on the top and easy to get to. I also really like that I can set the light to be flickering or steady.
