A: All of our items are completely food safe and pass all testing (never exceeding the standard range set by the FDA) for lead. If there are small traces of lead, they pass the FDA testing.

Q: What’s the difference in appetizer plate and salad plate? 2. Is reactive glaze sour cream and sour cream the same thing? 3. I read a review that sour cream is more of a gray. Is that true?

A: Hi Ruby - The appetizer is served on an appetizer plate, which is usually about 4 to 7 inches in diameter. The appetizer plate is served on the salad plate, which is 7.5 to 8.5 inches round. The sour creams are slightly different in color. I hope this information helps. Happy shopping! – Keacia

I ordered the salad and dinner plates from my daughter's registry. The dinner plate box was covered in plastic wrap to protect the box. The salad plate box however did not have a plastic wrap. The box arrived dirty and sticky! I am not happy that I have to give this as a wedding shower present! I tried to do an exchange and was told I could only get a refund. Last time I shop at Target!

It’s a nice plate with a lip and brown tones around the edges. Definitely not white or cream colored. It’s more of a subtle speckled gray, which isn’t too off from my other cream/oatmeal colored ceramic dishes. Overall, very nice quality, but the item description photos are not accurate.

Very pretty, although they don’t look like the pictures. I’ve had these for a few years now and they are all chipped. Some chipped as soon as we got them home. We have the salad and dinner plates and both bowl sizes and they all have chipped pretty bad.

The dishes chip very easily. Also, the bottom is not glazed so the moisture from the heat transfers to your table/counters and even the cabinets after the dishwasher.
