Beware - Beautiful fan but does not hold up to wind at all. Placed in a covered pavilion but is broken in less than 2 years.

Fan did not last
I absolutely loved the look of this fan and it fit perfectly in my lanai, but it died a year and a half after installation. I'm very disappointed as this fan was not cheap.

Disappointed
The quality of the fan is good. But does not push enough air flow for an 84 inch fan. I realize an 84 inch does not turn high rpms but 79rpms is not enough. Bought the fan based on the minka name, next time I will pay more attention to rpm rating and cfm.

Great Large Fan
Love the fan as it fit well into the 20' high space we were working to fill! The style is perfect, the air really moves and the light truly brightens the space! The only reason not to give it 5 stars is that we needed a replacement because the first one purchased had a bad motor.
