Q: How do you open the lid?I spend countless minutes trying to open it and nothing also mine didn’t come with a straw is it a separate purchase?

A: Yes it does come out and you should pop it out every time you clean it! We use these for milk and they started growing mold under the clear ring!

Great cup for a 9m+ year old. We’ve enjoyed it. But the straw didn’t last. First the little triangle pieces inside the straw broke off (assuming that was the valve to make it spill-proof), now the straw is literally splitting in two. Very frustrating since I can’t just buy a new straw.

Easy to Use
Not sure why so many people are having difficulties with a child’s cup… it’s not 100% leak proof for sure but leak resistant. It’s very easy for adults to put together and for a child above 12 ish months to use. We have been using it for almost a year and I’m definitely ordering more.

Great non-plastic sippy cup option
I chose this as a straw cup for milk for my 13-month old, as I'm trying to avoid plastic and my baby is at an age where he loves throwing things (i.e. glass is out of the question). Pros: I love the handles and that it's stainless steel. It's reasonably good at preventing leaks, which is amazing for straw cup with milk Cons: I don't love that you can't see how much milk is left, it's a little small, and there's a gap between the straw and the bottom of the container so it doesn't reach all the milk. My baby also loves to shove the straw down into the container so it disappears, but that might just be a me problem. Overall, reasonably happy with this - not being able to see how much milk is inside is a trade-off for going non-plastic. And bonus points for the milk not leaking out of the straw constantly, which is an issue with other straw cups.

Flimsy straw
I’ve bought this twice and I wish it were because I love it so much! It truly is a great spill proof cup but be weary of teething toddlers. My one year old has chewed through each straw of both cups I bought. Probably a result of baby user error but I wish they would sell the straw separately so I could just replace the straw. I will probably be buying a different replacement sippy cup the third time around.

Good Cup, Has Flaws
I chose this cup as we avoid plastic in the kitchen as much as possible. This of great value for use at the dinner table for meal times. Toddler loves it. However, there are some cons…it is not leak proof. So if you’re looking for leak proof, this is not it. At first my little one will yank the straw out. There is a band on the straw to prevent this but it’s nothing against toddler might. Then they began to push the straw all the way into the cup. Putting the band on the outside prevents this but it means the cup has to be kept on the full side for use.
