I bought two of these. The second arrived more beat up than the first (mangled cover), so I just kept the first and returned the other.... The story itself is enjoyable, the characters are endearing & quirky, but the ending dragged. Not as good as the author's other witchy title.

I had high hopes for this book since I LOVED The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, but truthfully this book fell flat for me. I unfortunately couldn’t connect with the story or characters. And after giving it a fair chance, I stopped reading it after chapter 6.
