Acer Aspire 3 - 17.3" Laptop Intel Core i3-1115G4 3.00Hz 8GB RAM 256GB SSD W11H - Manufacturer Refurbished

I liked it for the first 6 months. But after that the mouse pit stopped working, which is very disappointing. Says now I have to use an external mouse and this is very upsetting.

Being that it's silver you really can't see all of the scratches on the top, but they are there if you look closely enough. And I'm extremely picky and meticulous about my electronics. Luckily when you open it up it's like brand new, screen is great (yet dull 900p). The body and keys are like new, so I guess I can't complain for the price. Also it's extremely fast for just a dual core I3, not sure if it's 2 or 4 threads. Just 2 I think. And I've seen way less in computers for a LOT more money, with only 4 gigs of RAM. Whereas this has 8, which is a great steal. I like chrome so I use it and it's still pretty fast. But lighting fast with MS edge, which I hate. Everything else comes up reasonably well. The caveats would be the screen isn't that bright, but good color acccuracy. The keys have very little travel but really feel cheap and aren't that great for fast typers like myself. They just don't have enough depth. And lastly the speakers are pretty much nonexistent unless you turn them up to 100. Luckily I ALWAYS use my bluetooth speaker for sound, which is great. And windows 11 is pretty slick, actually not that bad. Just a short learning curve. The fan will run pretty loud at first, I think just to blow out all of the dust from these laptops sitting in a warehouse somewhere. But it dies down to a small hum eventually. So yeah for $249, with a 17.3 inch screen you can't beat it. Yeah the qualities not here, but what a great price. But I still use my old HP's more, as they are better "quality". And oddly enough I still love Windows 8, which most hate.

Although it is a renovated laptop, it arrived without a charger. I have not been able to test it since it had little charge. The charger is essential, whether the laptop is new, used, or renovated. I hope there was an error because if they are selling it without a charger and they don't specify it in the description, it could be a problem. I contacted target and the only option they give is to return it.

It did not come with a power cord

I bought this for a friend as a gift and he loves it. Said it looks brand new, work perfectly. $250 for a 17 inch laptop is a steal !

Besides having to update windows 11 in order to get wifi and some apps/programs running, I've had found no other problems thus far. It's a quality laptop at a great price if picked up on sale.

The only thing I really can’t even complain about, is the fact that the touchpad is a little bit weirdly placed, but nothing that has to do with it being refurbished
