Loving this product so far, thanks to a previous user that emphasized following the directions on the back. This a long one, but well deserved. Here's my experience: As a prescribed 15% Azelaic Acid user and melasma prone girly, I can say that I am seeing results including this in my regimen. Now, it burns but I believe that is due to the Azelaic Acid in the serum. I experience the same tingling sensation using Azelaic acid, which is very mild on my skin. The tingling sensation and "oiliness" subside in 10-15 mins. Once it subsides, I gently apply my moisturizer on my skin. I also don't use other serums on nights when I apply this one. Recognizing I have sensitive skin I minimize the use of multiple "brightening" serums at once. If I see and feel my skin becoming irritated, (follow the directions on the back) I stop using and use rose water on my face throughout the day or until the irritation lessens. The label says to use aloe, which I believe will work too and may try. The skin is definelty turning over. I can see the dark spots coming to the surface and it does looks a little odd. So have your makeup and moisturizer ready as it looks worse if the skin is dry. Finally I'd highly highly suggest to use a sunscreen with this. If you haven't found one yet then hold off on using this.

Did nothing to lighten sun spots

You must read the bottle: the product WILL discolor your skin severely until it peels away revealing the new healed skin underneath. Which is lighter like the product describes it will do!! I 100% recommend this product. Just know you will have discolored skin for a short time before it peels away :)

I bought for my chest which is very sun damaged. It was too intense for that sensitive area and made it itch, but it got rid of a weird spot of deadish skin on the top of my foot that I’ve had for years and years. The only other thing that had cured it was a Rx with urea so I’d say this product is strong and effective.

I am 36 yrs old and have sun damage with hyperpigmentation. This product is the only one working so far out of the Roc brightening serum and Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta peel wipes. I’ve been using this product for a few weeks and seeing a difference. There is a slight sting upon use but goes away fairly quickly. I use this product in the am and pm, then moisturize. Although this product says to wait 4 weeks for full results, I am already seeing my dark spots starting fade. I would recommend this product.

No smell and works quickly to restore your skin from sun damage and age spots

Use this for 4 months no luck. Used it on my dark knucles it was my last thing tried and i tried everythig. I bought it becasue of the reviews. I read depending on the type of dark spot he can make it worse, which it did! In the long run i ended up going to the dermatologist glad i did. If you got a moderate type of thing going im sure this would help tother don't waste you money!

Great cream that’s brightening my dark toes. Yes, I said toes. It’s not sticky amor greasy. I use it every night before going to bed.

As a pale, mixed race woman with melasma, I can tell you that this stuff is VERY EFFECTIVE! The reviewers who claim it either didn't do anything, burned their skin, and /or made their dark sport darker, simply didn't know what to expect. Yes, It WILL sting—— it contains many very potent acids. It WILL make your dark spot darker, BUT if you keep using it consistently, that darker skin will flake off in a few days and your dark spot will be much lighter than it was. Then you repeat the process over again until you achieve the desired results. It's not a magic eraser, but it's VERY potent and equally EFFECTIVE!

This product did not work at all. It will also burn your skin. This product will make the dark spot larger. I used as directed per the bottle. Very disappointed. It’s also overpriced. I have used products that cost less than half the price with better results.

It actually works to lighten my dark spots quickly!

Burnt my skin and made my hyperpigmentation worse:( I used a very small amount nightly and even added castor oil on top to bring the potency down and stay moisturized. This product may be better on skin that is not brown or black .

This stuff is very very strong! I mean, crazy strong. For some reason, I had developed a very dark rough patch of skin on my wrist. After about a year of hating this dark spot, I decided to find something that could peel it and renew the skin. After applying it daily for a few days, I noticed that it turned my skin very orange! For the life of me, I don't know how people put this onto their face! I digress.. After about two weeks, the skin is shed and peeled and brand new again. but it didn't solve the problem. After two months, the dark spot came back. So I went thru this peeling process 5 or 6 times. FINALLY, I can say that the dark spot is gone. Did this product work? Yes. was it easy? These things are never easy. There was no burning or strange feelings, but the skin definitely peeled. Use extreme caution if you're putting it on your face. You will be orange and you will peel!
