You see in my photos that the "gem" is so dark green that you don't realize it's supposed to be a "gem" of some sort. They are not transparent at all so no light is going to be coming through to lighten the color. Absolutely nothing like what Target advertised. I was really looking forward to that beautiful green they show in the listing. No such luck. The wire backing is super cheap. And I should have looked at the measurements because these are TINY. Teeny tiny. Mostly because of the failure to send me earrings in the color advertised, I sent these back. Not worth the price at all.
