A: Just bought 2 of these and yes you absolutely can! My husband and I did just that on our recent camping trip and stayed perfectly warm on 28° nights!
submitted byHaileyMadison - 1 year agoA: Yes, me and my husband purchased two and they zip together. You just unzip them both completely then place them flat on top of each other then rezip. Fantastic feature and works better than our sleeping bags that were designed to zip together. It is very wide and gives two people a ton of space.

A: Yes, the sleeping bags says that it is optimal for people up to 6’2 but I am 5’4 and my husband is 6’4 and we both fit perfectly.

A: No, there is not a built in pillow. There is a built in hood which will separate your head from the ground but the hood is only insulated, not padded. You will want to bring a pillow.

Q: What is "compression straps"?

A: These are two elastic straps at the base of the sleeping bag that you can use to store the bag. It is hard to keep the bag rolled while putting it into the pack bag so you use the straps to keep it from unrolling.

A: The width of the bag laid flat is 84 Inches (L), 33 Inches (W) according to the description. A Twin Bed is 38 inches wide for comparison. The height recommendation of the bag is up to 6’2, but the bag was very sufficient for my husband who is 250 pounds and 6’4. However, this bag is meant to fit very tight and close to you to optimize heat. It may be too tight if you need more than 33’ wide.

A: The bag is water resistant but it is not water proof. It could be slightly sprinkled on but anything more and it will just absorb the water. It is not ideal for wet conditions unless you have a waterproof layer outside of it.

Comfortable and warm
It’s a good thick/warm sleeping bag. It’s soft and I like the hood on it. My only complaint is that it’s not very roomy side to side. I’m a 5ft2 female in size medium clothing. I have no issue with it lengthwise but for the width there’s only room for my arms to lay to my sides and not much wiggle room. This is about the average size sleeping bag though.

Almost great but missed the mark.
Like: The price, the warmth ( I was in three layers of clothes plus 2 blankets on top, one underneath on a pad and a mat on the ground in 50-40 degree weather with wind speed 1-20 mph. I was very warm and had many great dreams while sleeping. Con: I'm 6'2, 255. The bag ripped the 1st sleep when I pulled the hood tight. The following week, the zipper ripped. There is only one stitch on the zipper attached to nylon. That's why both items ripped. For the price great. Hopefully, when I look at the $200 sleeping bags they will have double to tripple stitching in those areas, not directly attached to the nylon. I have noticed at target, you get what you pay for.

Zipper issue
Check your zippers! The bag that we received has the zipper sewn in crooked and leaves a gap at the bottom of the bag. When we received it it looked like someone had opened or possibly even used the bag before. It was rolled and stuffed in the liner awkwardly as if it had been handled before (and probably returned because of the zipper). Ordered a replacement so fingers crossed.....

So warm

Nice bag!
This sleeping bag is pretty comfy. It’s cushioning is nice enough to lay on a hard wood floor without a pad, but if you’re sleeping outside on the ground, you probably would want to use a pad underneath for optimal comfort. I love that the “hood” at the top of the bag can be cinched up tight to keep you warm and toasty on colder nights. The bag is rated to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. It was big enough to move around and even sleep on your side for a 5’6” 130 pound woman.

Great color and design
The embark sleeping bag is a great size for adults and appears long enough for taller adults as well. The color is great and the fabric on the inside is comfortable to the touch. Haven’t had it outside yet to test in lower temps but the quality seems good and overall the bag is comfortable.

Soft, Comfortable , Lightweight, Kept Me Warm
I really love my Embark 30 degree Hooded Sleeping Bag. It is so light weight to carry, Very soft and comfortable to sleep in and it did a great job keeping me warm especially the hooded feature protecting my face and head. It zipped open and closed smoothly without catch, The little quote tag on the sleeping bag was a nice touch and made me smile. It was not difficult packing back up, has 2 stretch bands to hold it all in place to place back into carry bag. I highly recommend this sleeping bag.

Great sleeping bag
This sleeping bag is so cozy and I can’t wait to use it this summer! It’s a 30 degree hooded sleeping bag for an adult and is very roomy. It’s 84 inches long. I love the colors and design of the burnt orange and teal. It’s very easy to pack and transport with the stuff sack included.
