To fold your sleeping bag, please follow the steps below: - Zip up sleeping bag. - Fold in half, lengthwise. - If applicable, fasten toggle and loop to ensure bag stays in folded position. - Start rolling snuggly from opposite end of ties, loops or straps (whichever applicable). Have ties lying directly on the ground. - After rolling bag completely, secure ties, loops or straps. Works well for its specifications
I have used the Flatlands 30° Sleeping Bag, and never left home. We had a cold snap 33° in North Central Florida, so I used the bag on top of the bed. The cushioning effect of the bag are nice. However, it has a tendency to be rigid allowing cold air into the open area. Good thing I wore long sleeve and full length pajama shirt and pants.

Very warm

My children don't always enjoy going out but after using this sleeping bag, they haven't fussed about being cold nm on our overnight outings. I'm thankful for how warm we are and the quality of the material seems to be very good.

Very comfortable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I specifically got this sleeping bag because the temperature rating was exactly what I was looking for. It performs exactly as I expected and have used it in the conditions it was designed for, right around freezing. Much colder and would use a bag with a different rating, but this covers the widest temperature range we usually see.

Comfortable

Very warm!

This sleeping bag works really well! It kept my kids warm without them having to uncomfortably layer clothes on and it was easy to roll up and take back home. I definitly recommend!

Sleeping Bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for the intention of using it while camping, but I was able to get use out of it when we had a winter cold front come through. Our electricity was out for a few days, and we don’t have a back up generator. We had a lot of blankets covering us, but it was just too cold. I went into the sleeping bag since it was made for 30 degrees weather. It had plenty of room, and was able to keep me really warm. I can see how this would be ideal for the outdoors!

Perfect for cold camping nights!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Coleman Flatlands 30° F Sleeping Bag was exactly what we needed for camping in cold Northern California winter nights. Let me start by saying that this sleeping bag provides warmth. A whole lot of it! Even as temperatures dip down to extremely cold levels during the night, I find myself warm and cozy in this sleeping bag. With this thing zipped up, I don't even feel the cold as this sleeping bag practically retains all body heat. The Coleman Flatlands sleeping bag is also very soft and comfortable. It is packed with fill, providing cushion and padding all around. During the day, I often use it as a makeshift mattress and lay on top of the sleeping bag to take a rest. Fold it in half and it also works great as a pillow. Lightweight, easy to pack and easy to carry. When it comes to camping products, the only brand we trust is Coleman!

Very Warm and Comfy, & Easy to Pack Up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Coleman Flatlands 30F sleeping bag is very warm and comfy. Both my hubby and I tried it out on different cold evenings, in the high 30'sF and low 40'sF. My hubby is 6Ft and 220lbs, and you can see by the picture that the length reaches to his shoulders, with his feet at the very bottom of the sleeping bag. It was easy for me to pack it up myself, but I did have to rip out that white info piece to make the carry bag larger. The sleeping bag has 2 convenient toggles, 1 in the middle, and 1 at the bottom, to keep the bag in place, while rolling close. (Fold sleeping bag in half lengthwise before rolling.) Since there is no toggle on the top of the sleeping bag, that's where I start rolling the bag. In addition to the toggles, there is a plastic hook piece on a string that wraps around the sleeping bag, to hold it in place. I recommend this sleeping bag for camping or car camping, but not for hiking because it is rather bulky and takes up a lot of space. And you wouldn't want to lug this piece around for a long period of time.

GREAT Sleeping bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've already been able to test this baby out... it got mildly cold camping with friends but not too cold.. one time i got a negative degree sleeping bag and was so hot.. so i needed a nice weather sleeping bag and I'm so happy with this one..I was warm inside my sleeping bag but not overly... so comfy I didn't want to get out of it. I learned to pay attending to the degree level when you purchase I really love this new bag and will recommend this to everyone!! Comes with the storage bag and it's very easy to roll up and put away.
