A: The affresh® washing machine cleaner, dishwasher cleaner, coffee maker cleaner, cooktop cleaner, and ice machine cleaner do not have an added fragrance. Any noticed scent in these products is a byproduct of the ingredients. All of our stainless steel cleaning products and our cooktop cleaning wipes feature a fruit scent, while our machine cleaning wipes smell like lemongrass and our disposal cleaner leaves a citrus scent.

A: The product is designed to help remove mold. However, most washer door gaskets are not directly exposed to the product. So the removal of soil, residue, or mold from these gaskets will be minimal.

Q: This stuff is leaving white marks all over my washer around , why is that ? I tried scrubbing stain off with microfiber cloth dry/ wet and it won't come off . It's just stuck there

If your clothes have little brown chunks it's past time to clean your washer. My whole life ive never had chunks on my clothes but these new HD machines are not like the ones growing up! It's disgusting to see what's under the agitator so just these alone aren't going to help you need to take your washer apart and get the build up out

I don’t recommend this product. This product left a residue at the bottom of my washing machine. The residue was very difficult to clean and still after a month of washing clothes a film remains. My washing machine is only a year old. Very frustrating, especially when this is supposed to be a “cleaner”. Don’t waste your money!

I purchased this Affresh washing machine cleaner to deep clean our washing machine for spring! Prior to using, I was having some issues with oil stains remaining on our clothes. This product seems to have help. My only wish is that it was unscented, as we otherwise avoid artificial fragrances in our home.

I’ve been using Affresh since I bought my top load Maytag washing machine. My washer broke this weekend had to buy a new one. I wanted to remove the agitator on my old machine, I thought maybe something was there that was causing it to not move. The laundry room had been smelling moldy, when I removed the agitator, I was Shocked to see what was on the bottom. It was filled with MOLD!!!! When I finished using machine, I would always leave the top up. Affresh did nothing except, take my money. I’m using bleach to clean my washer in the future!

We had to get a new washer last month. It's a Maytag with the Affresh clean washer cycle. Figured I'd try it. It's pretty expensive, I don't like the fragrance, and it didn't touch the ring that's already collected in the basin. I even tried scrubbing the ring after the cycle finished, but it won't budge. So obviously this product did nothing to dissolve the grime. I won't be buying this anymore. I'll just use bleach.

This stuff is amazing! We take good care of our machine regularly; cleaning it by running vinegar and baking soda cycles regularly, cleaning the drain filter regularly (if you’ve ever cleaned one you know how disgusting they get), always leave the door open to keep it dry, wiping out the rubber seals regularly, etc. I used one of these tablets for the first time today and was disgusted at how much dirt and grime was released (the water was dirt brown; yuk). I ran 2 more cycles with a tablet each for a total of 3 as the instructions recommend for dirty machines. The third cycle had the machine 90% clean. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I will be doing more cycles until I feel the machine is 100% clean. I will absolutely be using these on at least a monthly basis going forward. I saw other reviews complain about a scent, but the tablets I had did not have any scent. I could, however, smell the musty smell of the machine getting cleaned, which was due to how dirty it was. We are an active family of 4 for reference of how much laundry we do. I strongly recommend this product.

Washer repairman said to get these kind because they have citric acid, which is needed when doing a wash tub cycle. Work great and make my drum smell clean.
