This oil works so good.

it’s lightweight and moisturizing I will definitely be using it on my kids hair. I’m excited to try some of the other products as well

I waited about a month to write this review. What I liked about this product is that it’s inexpensive and readily accessible on the shelf. My previous moisturizer is only available online, and the last time I ordered it, it didn’t arrive. So I was looking for a new product that was more convenient. This product also advertises “itchy scalp relief.” Well, I have an extremely dry and itchy scalp. This product smells okay and a little goes a long way, as it has a very thin and fast-flowing consistency. When I apply it my fingers get extremely oily, but I don’t feel any wetness or sensation of relief on my scalp. Also, this product seems to sit on top of my scalp rather than penetrate it. What I dislike the most is that I get lots of build up with this product. There’s brown gunk under my fingernails when I scratch my (still itchy) scalp a day or two after applying this. I also had to apply this product 2x times per day (every day) to get myself to stop scratching. In addition to that, it causes slippage for my Sisterlocks. I just retightened my hair a day prior to buying this, and the product made my freshly retightened hair look 4-weeks old with the amount of hair that slipped out of my locks. I love to support black-owned business, but this oil is not for me. So for now, I’m using a $3 Rose Water + Glycerin hair and skin moisturizer from H-E-B (that I used during my loose natural days), until I receive my $40 Ooh Oil order from Amazon.

I like the ingredients and smell.

The Bye Bye Dry Scalp Serum is our new favorite for my daughter's hair as well as my own. It's lightweight, moisturizering and smells lovely. We can apply as often as needed without concern of the scalp/hair feeling heavily coated or having an unpleasant scent. It provides a nice shine, tames fly aways and minimizes tangles. Our fine, coily strands love it...definitely 5 stars!

Love the nozzle on this bottle! Moisturizing daily looks for my daughter has become a breeze! I just squeeze along part lines in the morning after she brushes her teeth. Soon convenient!

Absolutely loving Afro Unicorn's Bye Bye Dry Scalp Serum! It effectively combat dryness and itchiness, but it also soothes my scalp and promotes overall scalp health. I've noticed a significant reduction in flakes and irritation since incorporating this serum into my hair care routine. Plus, the lightweight formula absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any greasy residue. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with dry scalp issues!

Used on both of my boys. My boys have different hair textures and I found I had to use more on my oldest with thick hair, however it did allow him to comb through all of his hair and left his hair soft and shiny days after. My youngest's hair texture is soft loose curls and I didn't need to apply as much. Left his hair soft and shiny. I even used it after blowing out my curly hair, slept with my silk bonnet and woke up looking as tough I had just left the salon. Loved it!

This product is gentle but effective it has kept my daughter's scalp moisturized for days!!

This oil is AMAZING!! I bought it on a whim because of the adorable unicorn on it (representation! whoot whoot). I have locs (going on 8 years) and my scalp tends to get really dry in the Winter. This is so soothing and it’s very light but a little still goes along way. The applicator makes it easy to disperse along your scalp without you having to squeeze the bottle. The oil just glides out (Iykyk). The bonus is that it smells good!! Like a sweet candy, pairs well with my Parfums de Marly Oriana. Easily my favorite oil now!! I’m buying a 2nd one for my car! Haha!! Please don’t take this away, Tarjay!!
