i got this in addition to the cream and I just left a review of the cream. This combo made my hair like breakfast crunchies and I am not about to set myself up for a hair disaster after mastering my hair. NOPE. I will be returning this or trashing it, if Target refuses. Please save your coins and try something more moisturizing. This formula has something that leaves the hair so hard. Maybe it's the sweet potatoe pie or maybe its just that there are too many items in the forumla. I don't know. Do not recommend, especially for my type 4 girlies.

Someone call Pattie LaBelle because I’ve turned into one of her pies 🤣 Some reviews say they don’t like the smell because it’s too strong and when I looked at it in the store I didn’t smell anything other than a very light cinnamon smell. When I used it to oil my scalp it smelled a bit more but then around 30 minutes later I was wondering who was baking thanksgiving pies! To me it smells so good but a few hours later it dies down so it’s ultimately up to your smell preference. I have type 4 curly hair so I need something solid for my dry scalp as other liquid oils run down my head and leave a oily mess. I rather have something like this that’s a clean product, and I use it about every 3-4 days so my scalp is moisturized. It doesn’t leave any residue or flakes, but everyone is different. This is not a sponsored or free product in exchange for a positive review. I bought this with my own money. ^_−☆

I purchased Donna's Recipe Extra Creamy Hair Cream and Extra Creamy Hair and Scalp Oil. I did not know that your products have coconut oil and contain protein. My scalp is flaky, itchy, and dry. The moisture has been completely sucked out of my hair. I am allergic to coconut oil and any type of protein products dries out my hair. I don't know what to do to get my hair back on track. Please read all of the ingredients before purchasing.

I used this oil on my twist out, but I had to wash my hair after two days because of the heaviness and stiffness it created. I like bouncy hair not the “I’m full of spritz” look. Read reviews that the smell was overbearing and that is to my experience is not true it’s not overbearing at all. The scent is waaaayyyyy too sweet. I have no idea what kind of tolerance these other reviews got but they’re misleading. Smelling such a strong sweet scent all day gave me a headache, made me want to throw up and never even eat anything sweet again (obvi this isn’t edible but just the smell alone made me cringe).
