Never had an issue
Bought 5 years ago with no issues. For some that complain about volume not working clean your headphones with a dry toothbrush. Try to unpair, pair and it should work no issues.

Not worth the cost
I’ve had them for a year, of which they haven’t been used in little over 3 months. I go to use them and they aren’t working. I go to the Apple Store and they tell me the right ear piece isn’t working. Cost to replace is 89 dollars! That’s crazy. No thanks. Sad that Apple can’t make something that cost so much last. Straight rip off!

Not working after 5 months
The left earbud just started not working properly. It is so much quieter than the right one and cannot be made louder. These were a Christmas present and less than 6 months later, not working properly.

Sounded good, but terrible design
These just didn't fit well at all. The sound was great, but they hurt in my ears. The old ones fit perfectly, but these are a lot bigger than the previous generations, and after talking on a phone call for 20 minutes, my face actually hurt right under my ear from my jaw somehow hitting the airpods. They also were not comfortable at all, I have pretty large ears too, and they felt really uncomfortable. The controls were also tricky, tapping on the old airpods were easy, but trying to press on a specific spot on the headphones was tricky, especially with gloves. You have to be a lot more precise and it's not a comfortable motion.

No worth the money
This generation doesn’t hold a charge. After charging all night I wake up to find 1 ear bud dead, just one. This keeps happening over and over again. I wouldn’t buy this one; I’m gonna try the 4 and hope for the best. Good luck!!??

Would do your research first before buying these gen 3.
Been having these AirPods for about 7 months and I had to factory reset it 3 times! Due to because it keeps disconnecting and can’t connect after that. And I always have issue pairing with my iPhone after the reset.

Pods do not stay in ears.
Connected via Bluetooth well, audio is good, but the pods do not stay put in my ears. They always feel slippery and do fall out of my ears. There is no security if I wanted to exercise or bring them outdoors.

am extremely disappointed with this product. It’s less than a month old, and it already doesn’t work. I made sure to charge it fully before using, yet it failed during my second use. The quality is terrible and does not match the expectations set by the description. Save your money and look for something more reliable. Would not recommend!

Get the Airpod pro 2 instead
I don’t know if I had a detective pair or something but these were the worst airpods I ever had. After about 6 months, the volume became so low that I could barely hear it. A few months after that the right side stopped working even after resetting it many times. I recently purchased the AirPods Pro 2 and they’re so much better. I suggest spending the extra money for the better AirPods Pro

The size is bulkier than the 2nd generation. Causes ear aches within minutes of use. Do not fit comfortable in the ear and fall out easily. Also the connection is poor in comparison with the 2nd generation which lasted much better at a farther distance too.
