Q: Is this lactose free?
A: No. Lactose comes from milk. This product is milk based and NOT lactose free. Ingredients product label shows milk protein concentrate. Allergen warning shows milk. If you are lactose intolerant- look for a plant based protein drink. Pea protein is the most common plant based. The "Ripple" brand plant based 20mg protein shakes are the best I've found- lactose free, does not contain artificial sweeteners or other chemicals, but Target stopped stocking that product. :(
submitted byIronButterfly - 2 months agoA: Unlike the other commenter stated, you can get lactose free milk by adding the lactase enzyme. Fairlife or A2 are two examples of companies that do this. I did not see lactase on the ingredients list for this product, so I would guess no on these. Unless I missed it and it says somewhere else on the bottle.
